Refund calculation process when a guest cancels a booking:
If you cancel booking 2 days before check-in (by 12 noon, local time), you are entitled to get full refund excluding 12% non-refundable service charge. For cancellations made less than 2 days before check-in, you will only get 5% of the booking amount.
If you cancel booking 4 days before check-in (by 12 noon, local time), you are entitled to get full refund excluding 12% non-refundable service charge. For cancellations made less than 4 days before check-in, you will only get 5% of the booking amount.
If you cancel booking 7 days before check-in (by 12 noon, local time), you are entitled to get full refund excluding 12% non-refundable service charge. For cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in, you will only get 5% of the booking amount.
What happens when the Host Cancels a booking?
Host should not cancel a booking after acceting a booking request, all cancelations made by hosts will result them 10% booking fee penalty that will be deducted from their next successful booking
1. Acceptance of Terms
1.1 The following General Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the platform ( www.Tripezi.com )
1.2 By accessing our Site and/or registering for our Service as a potential Guest or Host, You agree to be bound by these terms, that form a legally binding contact between you and Tripezi, which You acknowledge to have read and understood.
1.3 We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify or otherwise alter these Terms at any point. You must review these Terms regularly to keep yourself informed of any variations or updates.
1.4 By using this website, You agree that the posting of new or revised Terms on the Site provides adequate notice to You of any and all revisions and changes. Continued use of the Service after any such changes or after explicitly accepting the new Terms upon logging into the Site shall constitute Your consent to such changes.
2. Our role
2.2 You acknowledge and accept that Tripezi does not consider We act as a travel agent, in relation to the provision of our Service or in respect of Your actual rental transactions concluded with Hosts. Tripezi does not buy-in, re-sell or provide accommodation or other travel services in our own name therefore We are not a party to such actual rental transactions. However, if as a matter of law or in the opinion of any tax or other authority in any jurisdiction, Tripezi is or could be considered a travel agent in relation to providing a Service consisting of the intermediation in the provision of accommodation by Hosts to Guests pursuant to a booking on our Site. Therefore, You acknowledge and accept that in the above conditions and for the purposes of these Terms and rental transactions concluded between Guests and Hosts, Tripezi:
(i) Acts as the Host's intermediary in the name of and on behalf of Hosts who have listed their properties on our Site. Meaning, not in any way in its own name, and such services supplied, acting in that capacity, in taking part in, or consisting of the intermediation in, the provision of a Host's accommodation listed on our Site and/or in facilitating the conclusion of such rental transactions are supplied to Hosts.
(ii) Tripezi is not and cannot be a Host.
2.3 As stated above Tripezi's role is, exclusively, to facilitate the availability of the Site and Service for Users and to deliver certain related services. We do not purchase, buy-in, sell, own, provide, furnish, rent, sublet, control or manage any accommodation listed on our Site by Hosts- nor do we list or contract any rentals on our site in our own name. We do not supply any properties, hotel rooms or transportation to guests and we are not in any way capable to supply such or services to Guests. Our Site acts as a platform to allow registered Hosts as individuals offer for rent a specific holiday rental space to Guests. The properties listed on Tripezi may either be owned by hosts or be listed by those duly authorised to enter into rental transactions of such properties -consequently Tripezi are not a party in transactions made between hosts and guests and are not a contracting agent or representative of any Host. Our concern when such transaction is concluded shall be to forward contact details to both Hosts and Guests. Therefore the legal contract for the supply of accommodation and rental transactions is between Hosts and Guests, being a licence to occupy the Host's accommodation during the agreed period as detailed in the Host's booking confirmation but should not be or intended to be a tenancy or lease or grant of exclusive possession of such accommodation. Rental transactions are only therefore secured between Hosts and Guests, who are both solely responsible for their performance and Tripezi disclaims all liability arising from or in relation with such transactions. As a guest if you enter into a rental transaction with a Host for the booking of a property listed on the Site, You understand and agree that You will be required to agree terms with the Host and You agree to accept those terms, and any conditions, rules and restrictions associated with such property as imposed by the Host.
2.4 Tripezi accepts no accountability in respect to the condition of any listed property on our Site and We do not make any recommendations or endorsements of listed properties or Users of the Site. We also cannot accept any responsibility for conduct of Hosts, Guests and other Users of the Site and Service or the content contained in any listings on our Site or the condition or suitability of any listings and listed properties and/or for mistakes or omissions in the Host's descriptions and any bookings will be made at a Guest's own risk
3.1 Guests can make a booking through Tripezi by following the booking request process set out on the site and by confirming it via the link sent to your e-mail or your Tripezi account. It is of upmost importance that Guests make sure the information entered is correct before proceeding with the booking as once the booking is requested, any input errors cannot be amended.
If at any time prior to confirming the booking, you (the Guest) decide that you do not wish to proceed with the booking, do not advance any further and close the application window.
3.2 Once your booking request is official, we will communicate with the concerning Host via email and their Tripezi account, from which they will decide whether they wish to proceed with the booking or not. Hosts are required to either confirm or discard the Guests booking request within 36 hours of that request being made, after which the booking request shall automatically expire. If the booking request is subsequently accepted by the Host, Tripezi will send an automated email to the Guest, authorising the Hosts booking confirmation and their relevant contact details. Your relevant contact details will also be forwarded on to the Host. See Section 4 below for the payment process which will also apply upon receipt of booking confirmation.
3.3 Tripezi communicates the acceptance of a booking request between the host and the guest, all other communications (i.e. details and information about the booking and rental transaction, including, without limitation, arrival times and handling of keys) must be handled directly between you and the Host through our services on Tripezi where applicable.
3.4 You can access the details of your booking confirmation through your Tripezi account.
3.5 Guests and Hosts, upon receipt of booking confirmation, conclude a valid contract with one another regarding usage of the accommodation. Hosts are not required to make any property available to the Guest until the booking has been confirmed by the Host via Tripezi. Correspondingly, a Guest is not guaranteed a booking with a Host until payment has been made to the Host subject to these Terms and Conditions. However, upon issuing a booking confirmation, the Host shall be accountable for providing the accommodation requested by the Guest in the booking confirmation.
3.6 If a Guest requests a booking and it is subsequently accepted by the Host, the Guest will be held responsible and accountable to pay the full rental rate fee due (subject to these Terms and Conditions and any further terms and conditions issued between the contracting partners). In order to secure collection of such payment, Guests will be required to provide their payment card information and billing address during the booking process. If all the terms in the Guests booking request are accepted by the Host, the payment process prescribed under Section 4 will apply. If a booking request is refused, expired or cancelled, any pre-authorisation of the Guests payment will be released or will expire after 30 days unless contacted otherwise for an earlier release.
3.7 If a Guest withdraws the booking, the provisions and refund segment mentioned in Section 5 below will apply. Please note, no refunds will be provided if you cancel after the deadline date set out in the cancellation policy selected by the concerning Host. Furthermore, our Fees (as defined below) are non-refundable.
3.8. Any capital received by Tripezi from Guests for bookings shall be held by Tripezi subject to any conditional obligation to transfer or account for such capital to Hosts minus our Fees.
4.1 Should you book with a host, following the conclusion of the rental transaction with said Host via Tripezi, you as a Guest acknowledge and approve that you shall be required to pay the fee displayed in the Host's listing and booking confirmation. The fees displayed in a Hosts listing have 3 components: (1) the rental rate and any additional charges (included in the Hosts discretion) as solely determined and set by the Host (and not Tripezi) in respect of rental transaction, plus any applicable taxes and VAT, ("Host Fee"). Please see Section 7 below for information on any additional charges (for example, cleaning fees) that a Host may have decided to charge separately from the Host Fee; (2) a service fee, chargeable and disclosed to Hosts by Tripezi based upon a percentage of the Host Fee - in consideration of supplying our services to the Hosts to the extent that such provisions enable said Hosts to connect and conclude transactions with Guests - shall be added by way of a mark-up on top of the Host Fee; (3) an administrative fee of 3% of the Host Fee and service fee, shall be chargeable to a Guest and shall also be included in the Host Fee as payment to Tripezi for processing the Guests payment for bookings and various internal procedures linked to handling Guests forms of payment (the items at (2) and (3) effectively being Tripezi's Fees). Our fees are non-refundable and exclusive of any applicable taxes and VAT which may be charged in addition thereon, they shall be added to the Host Fee to calculate the total amount payable by the Guest for the stay.
4.2 Immediate payment of Host Fees and our fees through Tripezi is required once the Host accepts the Guests booking and issues a booking confirmation to the Guest which states the Guests agreement to pay for any booking money owed. As stated above, Hosts are required to either accept or reject the booking within 24 hours of the booking request.
4.3 Hosts set the currency in which they require payments to be paid in. However, for Guests convenience, Tripezi displays prices in numerous currencies. These converted prices are to be used for information only and any liability in respect of any additional charges the Guest may incur by his or her bank related to our conversion to the currency set by the Host is disclaimed. Guests' payment cards will be debited in the currency set by the relevant Host.
4.5 As a Guest, upon confirmation of your booking by the Host, you hereby agree that Tripezi shall debit your payment card in the amount of the Host Fee plus our fees (whether directly or indirectly via a third party payment processor, subject to that third party's terms and conditions). You also agree to pay any other charges pre-approved with the Host before the booking confirmation that weren't included in the payment, upon arrival at the property. You will receive a further notification email for the receipt of the payment.
4.6 The acceptable payment methods are listed on the website, both credit and debit cards are accepted (Eurocard/MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Diners Card). Payments shall be made in the currency set by the Host. Payments by cash or cheque are not accepted. Tripezi cannot be held liable for any loss of cash or cheques. You will be required to provide customary billing information (i.e. name, billing address, payment information) and as a Guest, you agree to pay all fees and charges encompassed in the Hosts booking confirmation (accessible through your Tripezi Account), irrespective of whether the service was accessed by you or a third party using your account. It is your responsibility to take the necessary actions to prevent the use or misuse of your account by an unauthorised person. If you suspect your account has been hacked or misused by an unauthorised party, notify Tripezi immediately so we can take action and block your account.
4.7 In some circumstances, we may require you to send us proof of identity. This can be requested at the time of booking, during payment or any other time thereafter before the check-in date. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if you do not provide us with the necessary documents and proof required.
5. Additional fees
Additional charger may be set in the form of a deposit or otherwise (examples of these include cleaning fees, washing machine fees, security deposit, late checkout fees) that are due from Guests which are not incorporated into the Host Fee. Additional fees may be dealt with in a separate arrangement with the host or stated on the summary page and charged directly by the host. Payment of such charges, whether that is upon arrival or when departing from the accommodation must be made by you, the customer, direct to the Host in accordance with the terms previously agreed. Tripezi shall not be accountable for administering or accepting requests or claims related to such additional charges or payments by hosts and disclaims any liability in this regard.
7. Complaints and our liability
(7.1) Our Liability to Guests
If you have a problem during your stay, please inform the Host as soon as possible. As the reservation is an agreement between you and the host, the Host will have sole discretion in deciding how they wish to deal with your complaint. As a Guest, you will also be asked and entitled to enter a review about the listed property on our Site. You will however be solely responsible to resolve any dispute arising out of or related to the stay directly with the Host.
(7.2) Our Liability to Hosts
We only assume responsibility for any injury, illness or death, if caused by our own negligence and liability in respect of statutory rights that you may have against us as a consumer that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Any claims that occur out of your residing in the host's accommodation must be brought against the host.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all representations and warranties relating to the property that is the subject of your booking with a Host.
(7.3) Exclusions and limitations
We cannot accept responsibility for any damage, loss, delay, or inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond our rational control. Such circumstances include but are not limited to war, threat of war, riots, civil conflict, terrorist activity, industrial rows, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, airport closures, poor weather conditions, interruption or failure of a utility service or the acts of any local or national government. We reserve the right to cancel any booking affected by these extreme circumstances.
Our total liability to guests and hosts in relation to these Terms and/or any bookings made through the Site is restricted to a maximum of three times the value of the booking in question. When cases involve death or personal injury caused by our negligence, this limit does not apply.
To the extent permitted by law, We hereby eliminate: (i) all conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity; and (ii) any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any Host or Guest in connection with any booking including loss of income or revenue; loss of business; loss of profits or contracts; loss of anticipated savings; loss of data; and loss of goodwill, whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.
This does not affect our liability for death or personal injury arising from our own negligence, and not neither our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, nor any other liability that cannot be omitted or limited under applicable law.
8. Behaviour of Guest
8.1 As a Guest, You accept responsibility for the proper conduct and manner of all members of Your group during Your stay at a Host's rented property. We have no duty whatsoever to pay compensation or costs (including but not limited to alternative accommodation) that You may incur as a result of Your stay being terminated early by the Host because of the behaviour or the behaviour of members of Your party being unacceptable.
8.2 If You cause damage to a Host's accommodation in which You are staying, You must fully reimburse the Host concerned for the full cost of the damage. You must also compensate Us for the full amount of any claim made against Us by the Host or any third party involved as a result.
If found by the court or authority of competent jurisdiction to be unlawful, otherwise invalid or unenforceable to due to any provision or part of a provision of these Terms, such provision or part-provision will be removed of these Terms and the remainder of these Terms will be implemented as if the offending provision or part-provision had never been approved.
Without our prior written consent you are not authorised to transfer any of Your rights or obligations under the terms. Without Your prior written consent we may transfer any of our rights or obligations under these Terms.
What we collect
We collect personal information when you register or add a property inquiry or listing, including but not limited to your email address, phone number, and mailing address (the "Personal Information"). If you are listing a property, we will also collect property-specific information including but not limited to amenities, rates, policies, and location (the "Property Information"). We may use your Personal Information to contact you from time to time with customer updates and information, or to send you information about new services or opportunities. You will be able to "opt out" of receiving marketing information by sending an email to us at email@example.com. However, as a condition of maintaining your account, we will have the right to contact you at any time regarding your account. Should you not wish to receive further contact from us, you have the option of deactivating your account.
"we do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties". We may share Site usage information about users with a third-party tracking company for the purposes of reporting statistics. For this purpose, some of the pages you visit on the Site use tracking mechanisms such as pixel tags (also called clear gifs). We may also use your information to market our services and to gain feedback on potential new services. We reserve the right to disclose your Personal Information and/or Property Information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.

If you would like us to cancel your Tripezi Account, please contact us or select the "Cancel Account" feature of the Service and we will attempt to accommodate your request if we do not have any legal obligation or a legitimate business reason to retain some of the information contained in your Tripezi Account.
